Description
Up to 24 hours of cooling or freezing without a power connection on a single battery charge. With the optional HyCooler Powerpack battery, you can enjoy maximum freedom in the Go and Pro coolers.
The rechargeable lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 15600mAh. This allows you to cool for up to 24 hours when there is no fixed power connection available. Easily read the remaining battery capacity via the built-in capacity indicator.
Place the Powerpack in a suitable HyCooler cooler and the battery will be automatically recognized. The cooler’s display then shows the Powerpack’s charging status and remaining capacity. The battery is automatically recharged as soon as the cooler is connected to a power supply.
The charging time is approximately 4 to 8 hours, depending on the condition of the battery, the state of charge and the available input power. An optional 230V battery charger is available as an accessory to charge the Powerpack without using the cooler.

Battery lasts only a few hours
Hyckes claim is that the battery would be able to keep their fridges running for 24hours but that claim is clearly too optimistic. Initially when I tried it was not even lasting an hour. Now the customer service contacted me following a first bad review and advised me to change some settings (battery protection mode should be set to low instead of high). But even with that it only lasts a few hours, not the 24 hours it claims. This not surprising given the size of the battery. I also have an external 1kWh battery which is about 5-6 times bigger and heavier, and the fridge lasts something like 36hours on that one. I tested this in the summer with an average ambient temperature of 25 degrees indoors and out of direct sun light. The fridge is a dual zone 50l and was filled with beverages. Temperatures were set to 4 degrees in both zones. I would only put 2 stars to the product due to this performance well below what is announced, but I must recognise they also have a very good customer service.
