What is the difference between the HyFridge and the HyFridge Dual zone?
The HyFridge has one temperature setting; the freezer compartment follows automatically. On the Dual zone you set both compartments separately and can also switch off the freezer compartment.
What capacity do I need?
Count on about 10 litres per person per day with normal use. For a week with two people you quickly need 70 litres or more; then the 85 or 90 litre model is a wise choice.
Does the HyFridge run on 230V?
The HyFridge runs on 12/24V as standard. In most vehicles, 230V use happens automatically via the battery charger or inverter. If not, use a 230V inverter that is suitable for compressor fridges.
What do I do if the freezer compartment stays too warm in spring or autumn?
At lower outdoor temperatures the balance between cooling and freezing can change. On the standard HyFridge you can then reverse the temperature setting, so the freezer compartment stays at the desired temperature.
Compressor fridge with simple controls
On the standard HyFridge you set one temperature: that of the fridge compartment. The freezer compartment follows automatically according to a fixed ratio. Set the fridge to 4°C and the freezer goes to around -18°C. Handy if you mainly want to cool and only use the freezer compartment now and then.
For camper, caravan and boat
The HyFridge runs on 12/24V, which makes it suitable for use on board and on the road. Thanks to the variable-speed compressor, energy consumption is low. The eco or night mode lowers the speed and dims the display, and the LED interior lighting switches on automatically when you open the door.
Built-in with a flush mount frame
With standard installation, the door protrudes slightly from the cabinet. For a completely flush finish, use the optional flush mount frame, available for each model.
